First steps

When you are fresh to the platform, these steps will help you get setup to start organizing events. Get started by starting out in the management section.

Create an Organization

The first step is to create an organization. This is the entity that will be used to organize events. You can create multiple organizations if you want to promote events organized by multiple entities. This is mostly a text that is displayed on the event page.

Create at least one template category

In evorto, events can only be created from templates and templates are organized in categories. In order to get started you will need at least one template category. An example for for a template category is City trips.

Update your tenant

Lastly, you will need to update your tenant to setup things like the imprint and the privacy policy. To do so, go to settings and open the Site content tab. You can find out more about the tenant configuration in the tenant management section. Please read through this section to finish the setup of your tenant.
